Davon Johnson and his wife, Deborah, lead Higher Calling In Christ Ministries International in Miami, FL, a ministry they founded in December 2020. A deep commitment to pastoral counseling and spiritual leadership marks his journey as a senior pastor. Previously, Davon and Deborah devoted over a decade to their home church. Davon’s roles included serving as the lector, responsible for Scripture readings, and as the pastor’s armor bearer, assisting during services. He also took on leadership roles in the men’s ministry and served as the secretary for the husband’s ministry. Complementing their joint ministry, Deborah managed administrative tasks for the pastor, oversaw the media ministry, co-led the women’s ministry, and organized annual women’s retreats. Together, they led intercessory prayer every Sunday and were pivotal in evangelism and outreach during their college years. In mid-2020, Davon and Deborah felt a divine prompting to embark on a new spiritual journey. Following multiple prophetic confirmations, they left their local church to establish their ministry, embracing their “5-fold” ministry calling. Deborah “HeartofWorship” Johnson, a devoted servant of God and partner to Davon “Transparent” Johnson, exemplifies faith and commitment in her life and work. Owner of the online faith-focused store Integrity By Design, Inc., and founder of Heart of Worship Ministry, Deborah integrates her strong faith into her ventures. She was born on June 20, 1990, in Ibadan, Nigeria, and moved to the U.S. at age five. Though she began studying nursing at Miami-Dade College, a divine calling led her to full-time ministry. Her ministry roles have been varied, including serving as a deaconess minister, intercessory prayer leader, pastor’s assistant, and co-leader in women’s ministry. In October 2020, she felt called to resign and follow a new path set by God. Professionally, Deborah works as an independent contractor, managing administrative, social media, and graphic design tasks. In her personal life, she’s an active YouTuber, blogger, and leader of a women’s ministry stemming from her blog. She co-founded Higher Calling In Christ Ministries, International, Inc. with her husband in December 2020. Deborah’s passion for worship and evangelism is evident as she shares the Gospel, provides relationship advice, and speaks on Christian platforms, inspiring others to surrender to Christ fully. She moves and operates in the prophecy ministry in her counseling to others.
