Our counseling sessions operate on a sliding scale, with a suggested contribution between $80 and $180 per 50-minute session. We believe everyone deserves access to compassionate care, regardless of financial circumstance.

Due to the rising costs of operations—and because our rates have remained well below industry standards—it has become necessary for us to move fully into a sliding scale model. This approach helps sustain fair counselor compensation and ensures we can continue covering essential expenses such as office space, insurance, legal compliance, and administrative support.

Full or partial scholarships may be available for families earning under $39,000 per year, as well as for those who have experienced recent financial hardship or special economic challenges despite higher earnings in previous years. A household includes everyone living together who shares income and expenses such as rent, food, and utilities.

Meet Jack Hakimian – Christian Counselor (English)

Jack Hakimian has been married for over 28 years to Jhael Hakimian and enjoys raising their four boys with their youngest 18 years old. As founder of Impact Family, he is a seasoned Christian Counselor with many testimonies of lives changed. He loves to empower individuals, families, and organizations to achieve transformation through evidence-based Biblical wisdom..

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry/Biblical Studies from Life Pacific College and a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. Certified by the Evangelical Training Association and a presidential member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Jack brings extensive theological and counseling expertise to his work.

He has over 30 years of counseling ministry experience, with a strong emphasis on spiritual dependency on the Holy Spirit and practical biblical wisdom. With God’s grace, he has helped thousands of youth, young adults, singles, couples, parents, businesses, and non-profit leaders find the transformation they sought.

Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University, a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University.

A devoted servant of Christ and passionate encourager, Deborah Johnson brings deep spiritual insight and heartfelt wisdom to her work in ministry and Christian counseling. She is the co-founder of Higher Calling In Christ Ministries, International, Inc., alongside her husband, Davon Johnson. Additionally, she leads The Heart of Worship Ministry, which originated through her blog outreach.

Deborah’s journey began in nursing studies at Miami Dade College, but a divine redirection led her to full-time ministry. Her ministry experience includes:

Meet Davon Johnson - Christian Counselor (English)

Davon Johnson is an alumnus of Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication and an area of concentration in Religious Studies. He is certified in both Adult & Youth Mental Health First Aid by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. He is trained on how to provide initial help to those experiencing a mental health or substance abuse challenge. He has also earned the Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist (SRAS) designation from Ascend. With over 8 years of experience specializing in the field of adolescent health, Davon has been equipped with the tools to facilitate real-life discussions with youth, helping them make healthy choices about sex, relationships, and marriage.

In 2009, Davon founded Transparent For Christ Movement, a Christian recovery ministry offering personalized mentorship and group support for individuals seeking to overcome sexual addiction and LGBTQ+ related issues.

Davon, alongside his wife Deborah, serves as both the founding and senior pastor at Higher Calling In Christ Ministries International, Inc. Pastor Davon and Prophetess Deborah focus on presenting the gospel in a contemporary and engaging manner, striving to awaken and nurture the spiritual gifts in others, guiding them toward their higher calling in Christ.

Married since 2014, the Johnsons reside in Miami Gardens, where they continue to impact their community, city, and beyond with their dynamic and heartfelt ministry.

Meet Laura Hawranko - Christian Counselor (English)

Laura Hawranko offers in-person and virtual counseling sessions with a focus on children, teens, young women, and parents navigating emotional, behavioral, and spiritual challenges.

With over a decade of experience in ministry and family-focused care, Laura brings a compassionate and steady presence to counseling. She has supported parents through difficult family dynamics and helped children and teens work through trauma, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Laura is especially passionate about guiding young ladies toward confidence, emotional resilience, and a Christ-centered identity.

Laura served full-time in ministry alongside her husband in Davie, Florida, and spent ten years as a Family Teaching Parent at Sheridan House Family Ministries. There, she provided crisis intervention, behavior support, parenting guidance, and family reunification coaching. She is known for creating practical, individualized action plans that help families find stability and move forward with hope.

Her counseling approach is trauma-informed, faith-integrated, and relationally grounded. Laura partners with the Holy Spirit to create a safe and supportive space where parents feel encouraged, children feel understood, and young women feel empowered to grow.

Christian Simpson is an aspiring Christian counselor and psychology student at Florida International University who has a passion for blending biblical spirituality with psychological teachings to help individuals overcome both mental and spiritual health obstacles. With a unique background shaped by international experiences in Brazil and Barbados, Christian brings a global perspective and cultural sensitivity into his work.

He is the founder of The Gospel Guardians, a street evangelism ministry through which he has gained more than four years of experience in outreach, discipleship, and sharing the gospel through preaching, Bible study livestreams, and social media engagement. Christian also serves as an intern with Impact Family, where he shadows professional counseling sessions and provides guidance to youth in need.
