Choose a day and time that you and your family can have complete privacy for at least 2-4 hours (depending on family size).

All cell phones, tv, radio, and distraction, turned off. Please put the pets away too. You should only turn on the TV or Computer if you want to spend time in meditation or worship over songs or instrumentals. See youtube playlist.

Father/Main Leader will ask the first question as to the initiator (HEAD). With each item, you will give your family members up to 2-5 minutes of uninterrupted time answers.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ANYONE ALLOWED TO ANSWER, ARGUE OR DEBATE THEIR ANSWERS!!!! JUST LISTEN!!!

As they answer, please listen with an intent to have peace and pray for God to help you see the heart of your partner and not just their words.

Sometimes when people are hurt or depressed, they can use offensive words that don't convey their genuine emotions accurately.

They are angry because they love you and feel like they are losing control or have been violated, disrespected, or ignored.

Be civil and respectful. The Holy Spirit is teaching you about yourself as they speak. It may be excruciating. There is "no gain without pain."

Transformation through these private family sessions is powerful. The Holy Spirit will comfort the pain and bring authentic peace to your home.

1. Dear family how have I been making you feel this last week with my actions & attitudes?

2. Is there anything I can do to make you feel special and loved this week?

3. How has your work/school/daily responsibilities been? What do you feel about your achievements?

4. How has your relationship with God been? How are you cultivating your closeness to the Holy Spirit? Do you feel loved, encouraged, abandoned, or challenged by Him?

5. How are your friendships going? How are you cultivating them to become better?

6. How is your health? How have you been taking care of your body and mind?

7. What are two issues we can pray for you?

Close the session in prayer for each other and over the issues you presented as you were communicating.

Each of you should pray for 2-5 minutes. Authentically ask God for forgiveness and help for yourself and your partner. Let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart as your family member prays.

Listen for His still small voice. Prayer enables you to give up control over issues in your relationship and soul you cannot change.

Only God can change hearts, attitudes, and actions as we cooperate with Him by faith!

As they say “Let go and let God”!

Scriptures that remind us only by the Spirit can change as we trust in Him, ask for His help, and let Him gives us the motivation and power to obey God.

Additional Info

  • Book Response Form:

    1. Please pray before you start your reading/reflection time. Ask God for understanding. Sometimes when reading the Bible it's encouraged to read and pray over each verse as you meditate on a word or idea coming from the passage. The same can be done with any Christian book.

    2. As an option keep notes on another document processor like Online Word or Google Drive. Write your answers down before you input just in case there is an error when you submit and you lose your answers.

    3. A copy of your answers will be emailed to your counselor/coach/teacher.
