Meet Jimmy Pertil, MS – Wellness Specialist
Jimmy Pertil is a health and wellness advocate dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve their health goals through innovative strategies and a community-focused approach. With a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University, a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Florida International University, and a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Nutrition Certification, Jimmy brings a strong foundation in health sciences to his work.
Currently preparing to start medical school, Jimmy is passionate about blending his expertise in healthcare, VR/AR technology, and wellness coaching to enhance clients’ physical and mental well-being. He has over seven years of experience as a Program Specialist at FIU’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, developing community health initiatives and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Jimmy has also contributed to improving lives through community outreach, volunteering at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, teaching CPR to children, and leading infrastructure projects with Alternative Breaks.
Jimmy’s holistic approach, blending science and innovation, empowers clients to navigate health challenges and embrace a healthier future.
