The 1904 Welsh Revival was a powerful spiritual awakening that took place in Wales, led by the young evangelist Evan Roberts. It is noted for its intense focus on prayer, repentance, and a deep desire for personal holiness. The revival began with small prayer meetings, quickly spreading throughout Wales and across the world. Thousands of people attended church services, and there were widespread reports of emotional conversions, transformed lives, and even societal changes—crime rates dropped, and communities were rejuvenated. This revival is seen as one of the most remarkable events in Christian history, influencing global missionary movements and church revivals worldwide.
