Most of our counselors do not take insurance due to the Christian Spiritual emphasis of our counseling. The intake is $25.00 and most sessions are $50.00 with some counselors rates up to $150.00. You can see the rates of each counselor here. If you really need insurance-based coverage we can refer you to a counselor outside of our network after the intake. Consider the fact that most insurers require a co-pay of $40-60.00. If you are experiencing economic hardship please apply for a scholarship.
Therapy can be emotionally intense and someone may learn many things in session. More time in session can be difficult to absorb mentally and emotionally. It is about therapy pacing and the fact that therapy does not just happen in the room. The time outside the room enables the client to assimilate the information which has been discussed in the session.
Because we are faith-based and are less expensive than other counseling services it is vital that we receive pre-payment as not to lose revenue when people don't show up. If you contact us for 24 hours in advance you can reschedule.
Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment anytime, as long as they provide 24 hours notice. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice or fail to show up, you will be charged for the appointment
Impact Family leadership team does not allow counselors to handle in-person payments from our clients in order to stay focused solely on therapy and their personal growth. If clients want to pay with cash they have the option of purchasing prepaid debit cards (Locations: Walgreens, Target, Walmart, CVS, etc) or Walmart card and schedule online at their convenience. Prepaid debit cards do not require personal information for initial use. Only when reloading with cash.
